About the Author

Colin Neave was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1939 and, apart from eight years, has lived in Aberdeenshire up until now. In 1963, he married Annette and they had two children and a happy family life. Both Annette and Colin were trained and experienced counsellors, spending much of their time supporting and counselling others. In 2015, Colin Published a book called “Scriptural Healing and Wholeness”, sharing his insights about the necessity of basing our lives on the absolute truth contained in scripture. They travelled widely together, teaching and counselling in many different countries, with a particular focus on Northern Macedonia, where their work touched countless lives all mover that country. In September 2024, Colin faced an immense personal loss when Annette died after suffering from dementia for four years. Her death was a tremendous blow, marking the end of their remarkable partnership but leaving behind a legacy of compassion, faith and dedication.

Have you ever watched a television program about nature and wondered? Why should the presenter be so sure of the accuracy of what is being shown? Yet, it is impossible to imagine how something can be true. Charles Darwin wrote a very distinguished book on the subject of “The Origin of Species.” But in that seemingly learned tome, which has been taken up by others and treated as absolute truth for years, he says: “The theory of natural selection seems to me to be in itself PROBABLE.” Those “probabilities” have, in about one and a half centuries, come to be regarded as “Gospel Truth.” Given such probabilities, today’s naturalists put forward their programs without warning that there may be problems with their theories. They add another few million years to their estimates of tremendous and unbelievable happenings to fool a gullible and amazed audience into believing “unbelievable facts.” This book probes below the surface of some of those “facts.” It asks, for instance, how one poor, shivering monkey crawled out of the primeval slime and then survived for long enough in a highly hostile environment to change itself into two monkeys instead of one poor individual. How believable is that? It is just impossible! In truth, is the Bible version of things more likely to be much more probable? After all, there is an endless space reaching more millions of kilometers that we can even imagine! Again, the theories about its creation are too “SMALL” for what we see. Should the TV presenters, who seem so sure, think again? Perhaps they should admit that what they put forward as “fact” is only in our world as the result of the work of God himself. The author is content for you to judge these things for yourself after reading these few pages! Is it possible that “wild guesses” have become facts to exclude the existence of an all-powerful GOD?
